Extract referenced SOLIDWORKS documents and drawings in Batch+


Batch+ can additionally include all referenced documents and drawings in the batch process.

For example, you can extract the child references of input assembly or drawing documents.

In order to enable this option select the Extract References toggle in the References group of the Input tab.

Batch+ will find all the references and present the result in the following dialog.

  1. Input file (usually assembly or drawing) to get references from
  2. Scope of references (e.g. all dependencies or top level only dependencies)
  3. Option to find all the drawings which referencing this document
  4. Additional drawing folders. By default, drawings are searched for across all folders and sub-folders of the input references (parts or assemblies). This option lets you specify additional directories if the drawings are stored in external folders.
  5. Add additional search folders to the scope
  6. List of input documents
  7. List of input drawings if the Find Drawings option is selected
  8. Toggle to select/deselect specific references to be included in the batch job
  9. Toggle to select/deselect all references in the column. For example, if only drawings need to be processed, unchecking this option for the Documents column will exclude all parts and assemblies from the job.
  10. Continue the batch process
  11. Cancel the batch process
