Added compatibility with SOLIDWORKS 2026
SOLIDWORKS 2026 & eDrawings 2026 Support. Batch+, eXport+, Properties+, and BOM+ now support stand-alone and PDM Professional modes for SOLIDWORKS 2026 and eDrawings 2026.
Known Issue – QR Code Generation (SOLIDWORKS 2026)
A regression in the SOLIDWORKS 2026 API affects the QR Code generation module, which may cause instability when inserting or editing QR codes, particularly in Drawing detailing mode. We have introduced partial mitigations, but the issue has not been fully resolved.
Recommended actions until a fix is available:
- Save your documents before working with QR codes
- Use the feature with caution in Drawing detailing mode
We are actively investigating a workaround and will provide an update as soon as one is available.
Updated End User Licence Agreement
We have updated our End User Licence Agreement (EULA) to better reflect how our software works and to strengthen protections for both you and us. Key updates include:
SOLIDWORKS Compatibility
We've clarified that CAD+ Toolset operates as a SOLIDWORKS add-in, and that compatibility with future SOLIDWORKS versions cannot be guaranteed following third-party updates.
Open-Source Components
We've added transparency around third-party open-source components included in the Software, with licence details accessible directly from the application.
Beta & Experimental Features
A new section covers features released in beta or preview. These are provided "as is" for evaluation purposes, and we've set clear expectations around their stability, support, and data handling.
Responsible Use
We've added clauses to ensure the Software is not used in sanctioned countries, in breach of export control laws, or in safety-critical or life-critical applications such as medical devices, defence systems, or aviation.
Liability
We've clarified that we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and that the Software does not constitute professional engineering advice.
Privacy & Data Collection
Our data collection practices are now explicitly aligned with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and its Australian Privacy Principles. A link to our full Privacy Policy is included.
Agreement Updates
We've introduced a clearer process for how we notify you of changes to this agreement, including a 30-day notice period for critical changes, giving you time to review and, if needed, exit the agreement without penalty.
Dispute Resolution
We've updated our mediation process to reference the Resolution Institute Mediation Rules.
